The project involves the renovation and expansion of a building within the European research centre (JRC) located in the municipality of Ispra for office use. The project involves the preservation of one part of the existing structure and the demolition with subsequent reconstruction of the second part of the building currently lowered to meet the requirements of the clients. The result is a building with a nearly rectangular shape of about 24 m by 22 m and which volumetrically has a height of 8 m above ground, the office spaces have an area of about 1100 sqm distributed on two levels above ground, the basement is mainly for technical use.
