Overview

The project consists of the hydraulic works that have the purpose to divert the water of Confinale Creek from the natural riverbed, preventing the seepage into the unstable mountain slope, that can increase the risk of landslide.

The landslide can create an obstruction in the valley, and form a lake on Frodolfo creek.

The consequences of this potential risk would affect the downstream villages, endangering the safety of the inhabitants and compromising the touristic appeal of the region.
